Extension of Domestic Violence Injunction - Client risked contempt of court and possible jail based on allegations by his ex girlfriend that he violated the six month injunction to stay 500 feet away from her. The ex girlfriend testified to the court that our client followed her in his car and showed up uninvited to her house. We were able to show the mother lied to the court when she denied that our client appeared at her house to deliver belongings while he was accompanied with the police and that there was not basis for her fear. Rule to show cause for violation of injunction was dismissed against our client. |
