Client was at a bar and was involved in a disturbance. The police responded and the client was allegedly asked to leave and refused. The police officer then tried to physically remove the client, and our client allegedly resisted. Client was arrested for Disorderly Intoxication, Trespass and Resisting Without Violence. The State did not charge trespass, but did charge the other two counts initially. While preparing to go to trial, the state agreed to drop the charge to disorderly conduct, which was ultimately dropped. |
