Client was charged with Possession of Cannabis with Intent to Sell/Deliver and 3 counts Possession of Paraphernalia. Law enforcement executed a warrant at the client’s residence and found marijuana (cannabis), pipes, scales and packaging equipment. After taking depositions and filing pre-trial motions to suppress, the State agreed to drop all of the counts other than one misdemeanor possession of paraphernalia (a pipe). The client even avoided a conviction on the misdemeanor because the court with-held adjudication and only required the payment of a $200 fine and court costs.
