Client accused of making an improper turn that resulted in a car crash. Law enforcement noted he had an odor of alcohol, bloodshot eyes, slurred speech, and was unsteady on his feet. After conducting field sobriety exercises, the client was arrested for DUI causing property damage, and not having a valid driver license. The client was allegedly offered a breath test and refused, causing a suspension of his driver license. We challenged the license suspension and had it overturned at DHSMV. Additionally, we were able to get all of the charges dropped. The client was separately given a ticket for a non-alcohol related reckless driving, for which he agreed to pay a fine to resolve that charge. |
